Do you want to bring your dog with you to Piantelle? No problem! Just ask at the time of booking, and we will let you know which accommodations allow pets. We have a huge amount of green space in which your dog can be walked, including the Olive Grove and the beach.
Piantelle is a dog-friendly campsite. If you want to take your four-legged friend on holiday, you can. Please let us know when booking and we will take it into account (per booking, 1 large dog or 2 small dogs are allowed). Not only do we have a dog area to free your dog in behind reception, but we are also the owners of the farmland around the Campsite. In these fields and Olive Groves you can free your dogs so that they can truly sniff out new spaces.
We provide Doggie Bags throughout the Campsite, and kindly ask you to use them. This is how we keep our campsite clean together, which is nice for all our guests. Also we kindly ask if you can keep your dog on the lead in respect to others.
We also have a “dog shower” near the lake to remove any mud or algae they might like to roll around in (we know dogs).
Moniga del Garda allows dogs to swim in the lake in a “dog beach” which is just past the little marina. About 10 minutes walk. There are other times of day that dogs are allowed to swim directly from the beach in front of Piantelle, but check the latest rules with reception to be sure of any updates.
Local rules apply on public transport (you need a muzzle for example), but overall Lake Garda is a great place to explore with a pet.
Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets in the Lake Star or Lake Dream mobile homes and the apartments.
We cannot accept the following breeds of dogs:
Dogo Argentino, Fila brazileiro, Neapolitan Mastiff, Pit bull terrier, Rottweiler, Japanese Tosa.
Guests travelling with pets must inform the reception and pay the daily price. Dogs must be kept on a leash. It is forbidden to leave dogs unattended on the pitches or in the accommodation. In various part of the campsite the management provide plastic poo bags for dogs. Please clean up after your pet. Please avoid entering the swimming pool and toilet blocks with pets.
