La Cucina offers something for everyone in the culinary field, from a tasty snack to a dinner for real gourmets. Not to forget a glass of delicious local wine, or a refreshing Aperol Spritz.

A kitchen is considered the heart of the home and the same can be said for La Cucina (literally “The Kitchen”). Relax inside or al fresco in the “Piazzetta”: we aim to make you feel looked after, relaxed and happy, preferably with a Spritz in hand. Once the Aperitivo is sorted we can talk food.
To make the tastiest dishes, you need the best ingredients, simplicity and a little immagination.We only cook with the highest quality raw materials, sourced locally where possible or from other parts of Italy. Children are welcome and encouraged to express their artistic side with a colouring mat, Kid specific menu’s and the possibility to play in the little playground. In the summer months the stage offers entertainment with musicals, baby dance and quizzes.

Our kitchen staff has a rich background working in some of the best restaurants in the area. The team, lead by Chef Andrea, works hand-on to create genuine italian dishes from scratch. Some highlights are the Scoglio which is a seafood pasta, the hand made fettucine pasta, the incredible Costata steak from a local butcher, and a Gran fritto (fried fish) just to name a few.
Andrea is our chef. Together with his team, he cooks the most delicious dishes for La Cucina’s customers. Thanks to his years of experience as a chef, he knows how to surprise us and our guests again and again. The menu is carefully composed by him and includes classic items made to perfection. His passion is puddings so don’t miss those!
Over and above the regular evening dinner menu there is always a “specials” menu you must make sure to look through.
A reduced lunch menu is available to keep things lighter and healthier.
Our pizzas are also made with the best ingredients. We carefully tested and selected our wholegrain flour from Mulino Quaglia – Petra.
Petra 3 HP is the flour we use, and it is their top tier selection. Ground according to the “Augmented Stone Milling” process and partially made from sprouted wheat. The grinding enhances the taste of the grain, keeping the bran parts and the germ unaltered. The sprouting on the other hand increases the airiness and crispiness of the products. It melts in the mouth!
Each pizza is freshly prepared with care and love by our pizza baker Massimo. His pizzas are considered among the best pizzas around Lake Garda.
Our wine list gives you the opportunity to try some gems from local producers as well as some key winemaking regions in Italy. We have our local partner Turina of Moniga who makes our house wines, entirely from his own vineyards. Moniga del Garda is in the wine producing area of Valtenesi where many of our wines come from, but we could not miss out on Valpolicella, Chianti and even Sicily as some other regions to represent.
Our draft beer selection includes Forst, Menabrea and Weihenstephan as well as a changing “draft of the month”.
As for cocktails we have the classics (a particularly good mojito!) and some less well known ones from our mixologist Gisele.
How relaxing it is to start the morning with a tasty breakfast. You can do that at your accommodation but of course, you can also let us pamper you. Our bar is open every day from 07:30 and you can enjoy a delicious breakfast there. The croissants are still warm, the coffee delicious as only can be found in Italy, and fresh fruit juices abound.
