An unusually heavy snow fall here at Piantelle on the 1st March on the shores of Lake Garda. However the peace and silence that you get during a snow fall like this is truly beautiful. Walking through the roads in the Campsite, the echoes of the children laughing and adults enjoying their Aperol Spritz seem like a distant dream. And yet we open again in just 22 days and we are looking forward to the smiles, laughter and joy all our guests bring.
We have been working hard on improving where we can over the winter months, bringing in new Mobile Homes, a new Olive Oil label, improving the reception IT and much more. We cannot wait to have you all back! We know the weather will be warmer by then.
In the interim our Golden Retriever Luna could not be happier, running through the snow and even having a chilly swim in the Lake. Tom the Border Collie on the other hand, has wisely chosen to cuddle up indoors by the fire.
